MacStadium offers significant external storage as a compliment to your dedicated Mac. This generally comes in the form of an external USB hard drive of up to 4TB in external storage.

For a sense of scale, you can reasonably expect to store ~450 average photographs per gigabyte. There are 1,000 gigabytes in a terabyte. Suffice it to say, if you need to store more than 1.8M photographs (or anything else of a similar size) we may well have a better solution for you in a Mac private cloud.

However, for users who find that this route suits their needs best, Mac minis can accommodate up to two of these external drives, for a total of 8TB of external storage.

Requesting Additional Storage

You can request additional storage by contacting your account manager or by submitting a service ticket via the customer portal.
