About
MacStadium uses fraud protection services, which use multiple layers of security to identify and stop fraud before it happens. These measures are in place to help ensure the security of our network and the best possible experience for our customers. 📘 Sometimes fraud protection stringency means customers may receive the following message when signing up for a new subscription: Unable to authorize your Credit Card. Please contact support via phone, chat, or open a ticket in the Customer Portal. Customers may also receive the same message when attempting to use a second card. This does not mean the card is declining.Overview
If a transaction is flagged by our system, then MacStadium requires the following:- A photocopy of a valid government-issued photo ID.
- A photocopy of the credit card being used. (The full credit card number may be covered, as long as the name, expiration, and last 4 digits are visible).
Getting Started
- If MacStadium requests photocopies, then email them to billing@macstadium.com, so that our support staff can verify the information manually.
- Once received, MacStadium can proceed with the provisioning of the new service.
- Since the order is being manually processed, MacStadium also needs to know about the server that was used for the original attempted to order. Please include the following details:
-
- The chosen data center for the server subscription.
- The specific Mac hardware to which you wish to subscribe.
- The requested operating system of the new subscription (if applicable).
