Login to vCenter

Log in and launch the vSphere Client

  1. Make sure that you're connected to the VPN. For more information about how to connect to the VPN, see Connecting to Your Cloud (via VPN).

  2. In your browser, navigate to the vCenter Server address provided in the Step 2: vCenter Login section of the IP Plan.

  3. Ignore the certificate error and proceed to the address.

  4. When prompted, provide the login credentials listed in the Step 2: vCenter Login section of the IP Plan and click Login.

TIP: When you copy your credentials from the IP Plan, make sure to copy the value and not the cell. Copying the cell might append whitespace characters to the credentials and make them invalid.

  5. If prompted, install Flash.

TIP: To access the HTML5 version of the VMware vSphere Client instead of the Flash-based one, replace /vsphere-client/ with /ui/ in the URL.

  6. (Optional) Once the browser loads your VMware vSphere Client, you can launch the HTML5 version from the top.

For more information about VMware vSphere, see the official documentation.
